Seller-lead playbooks: pick the next step in your workflow
Find where you are in the workflow and open the playbook for the next decision. Each one lists what you need before you start, the steps in order and the worksheet that records the result.

Stage 1 Before buying
Decide what a lead has to look like, what you will spend on the test and who will work each lead, before any card is in front of you.
You need: a target market, a rough monthly test budget and an honest count of the hours you can spend on calls.
Your first ten exclusive seller leads: a staged test planTreat ten leads as a staged, capped test of your own buying and follow-up process, not as proof that a provider works.
Set a buy box before you buy a seller leadA buy box is a short list of written decisions: where, what, how much, who calls, and which unknowns you will accept until the first conversation.
Stage 2 Evaluating a lead
Read the card against your written buy box. Separate what the card states, what it leaves unknown and what only a conversation can answer.
You need: a written buy box. Without one, every card looks either perfect or useless.
Read a seller-lead card without overreading itA lead card is a short, seller-stated summary; read it for fit and for gaps, never as a property report or a closing forecast.
Stage 3 After buying
Make the first contact, plan the next seven days, prepare an eligible credit request if the lead was not as described, and review the pipeline weekly.
You need: a purchased lead, its purchase date and price recorded in your test log, and the provider’s current credit policy.
First-call qualification for a seller lead you just boughtThe first call confirms who you are talking to, checks the card against what the seller says now, and ends with an agreed next step or a respected no.
Plan the first seven days of follow-up on a seller leadPlan the week after purchase as a short list of dated next actions that follow the seller's stated preferences and your legal obligations, not a fixed cadence.
Run a weekly review of your purchased-lead pipelineEach week, reconcile spend and credits, give every open lead a dated next action, count outcomes against the right denominator and change one thing.

The playbooks are provider-neutral. If you want to see where the inspect-before-you-pay steps happen in a real product, we use DrivenSellers as the example: you choose individual exclusive leads at a listed grade price without a required plan. It is our related product.
